local saved data
alley.moe does not require attendee accounts. saved booths, visited booths, notes, theme, offline event packages, stamp progress, filters, and local app caches are stored in your browser. they stay on your device unless you export them, import them elsewhere, clear browser data, or your browser removes local storage.
public convention and artist data
alley.moe shows convention maps and artist alley listings, including artist names, table numbers, public handles, catalog links, tags, product types, stamp rallies, and booth locations. this data comes from public convention pages, public maps, public artist pages, artist submissions, organizer-provided sources, and manual corrections. artists and organizers can request corrections or review using the data request process below.
artist submissions
if you submit a claim or correction, the submitted artist name, table number, social handles, tags, product types, catalog link, optional contact field, acknowledgement, and submission time are sent to the alley.moe Worker for manual review. approved public listing fields may appear on event pages. optional contact details are used for review and are not displayed publicly. approved edits, claim directory rows, stamp rally records, admin edit history, and recent backups may be stored in Cloudflare KV to help recover event data and review changes safely.
analytics, cookies, and maps
Google Analytics loads on app and event pages to understand general usage, such as page paths, referrers, device and browser signals, region-level location, dates, and times. it may set analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. alley.moe may also use Cloudflare traffic, security, and platform information to keep the site available and protect the service. saved booths, notes, route history, private submission contact fields, and stamp progress are not intentionally stored as analytics data.
artist and admin sign-in use secure session cookies such as as_session or as_admin. attendee saved data uses browser storage and cache storage instead of account cookies. alley.moe currently loads fonts from Google Fonts. convention maps are rendered by alley.moe itself, not Google Maps, Mapbox, or another third-party map provider. you can use Google's opt-out browser add-on or browser privacy tools if you do not want visits included in Google Analytics.
external services and sponsors
catalog embeds and preview cards may load third-party scripts, iframes, images, media, or metadata from services such as X/Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, or preview services. social links, Ko-fi, email links, convention links, blog links, and sponsor links can also send you to external services with their own privacy practices. if alley.moe shows a sponsor, it will be labeled as sponsored and kept separate from artist listings. aggregate sponsor click counts do not include your saved booths, visited booths, notes, stamp progress, or private submission details.
retention
browser-local data stays until you or your browser remove it. pending manual submissions are kept until reviewed, rejected, approved, or deleted. approved public listing fields may be retained as public event data. private review details and contact details can be requested for deletion. deleted information may remain in limited backups until those backups rotate, but is not restored unless needed for recovery. Google Analytics and Cloudflare data follow their provider settings.
data requests
to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection for personal data connected to you, contact privacy at alley dot moe. include the event, table number, artist name or handle, and what you want reviewed. alley.moe may ask you to verify that you are connected to the submitted data or listing before making changes.
requests can cover private or submitted personal data such as optional contact fields, pending claim submissions, unpublished review notes, claim-session data, and private admin-only details tied to a submission. public artist alley facts, such as artist names, public handles, table numbers, public catalog links, public convention listings, public maps, and public archive records, may be kept when they are useful for event navigation, archives, safety, fraud prevention, or correcting the public record. alley.moe will still review requests to correct inaccurate data, remove nonpublic personal details, remove unsafe or harassing content, or comply with a valid legal requirement.

alley.moe is a general-audience tool and is not directed to children under 13. if you believe a child submitted private contact information or other personal data, contact privacy at alley dot moe so it can be reviewed or removed. this policy may be updated as alley.moe changes; the last updated date above will be updated when the policy changes materially.
