you don't need an account to browse alley.moe. saved tables, visits, notes, theme, filters, stamp progress, and offline event data are stored in your browser, not synced to an attendee account. exporting or sharing a list lets you move that data elsewhere. clearing browser data can erase it.
listings include artist names, tables, public handles, catalog links, tags, products, and stamp rallies. the information comes from convention directories and maps, public artist pages, submissions, and corrections. public names and handles can still be personal data. you can ask for a correction or removal using the contact details below.
when you send an artist update, the form contents and submission time go to alley.moe's server for review. this includes listing details, your acknowledgement, and any optional contact information. approved listing details may be published. contact information is used for review and is not shown publicly.
Cloudflare stores submissions, approved edits, records of who can edit a listing, stamp rallies, edit history, and backups.
alley.moe uses Google Analytics to understand visits: pages viewed, referring sites, device and browser information, approximate region, and visit times. it may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Cloudflare also processes traffic and security information to run and protect the site. saved tables, notes, route history, stamp progress, and private submission contact fields are not included in the site's analytics events.
sign-in features use secure session cookies such as as_session and as_admin. attendee saves use browser storage instead. fonts load from Google Fonts; the convention map viewer runs on alley.moe. Google's analytics opt-out add-on and browser privacy tools can help you limit analytics tracking.
catalog embeds and previews can load content from X/Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, and preview services. those services may receive information about your visit when their content loads. following social, convention, Ko-fi, or sponsor links takes you to sites with their own privacy policies.
sponsors are labeled separately from artist listings. sponsor click counts do not include your saved tables, visits, notes, stamp progress, or private submission details.
local saves stay until you or your browser delete them. submissions are stored for review, and approved details may remain in the event archive. edit history and backups may contain older versions of a listing or submission. you can ask about retention or request deletion at privacy@alley.moe. Google Analytics and Cloudflare retention depends on the settings used for those services.
email privacy@alley.moe with the event, table, artist name or handle, and the information you want reviewed. requests can concern public listings as well as private submissions. you can also ask to access your personal data or exercise other rights available under applicable law, including objecting to its use or requesting restricted processing. i may need to verify your connection to the information.
alley.moe documents publicly listed convention participation. you can request a correction or removal. each request is reviewed individually, taking accuracy, privacy, safety, applicable rights, and the historical value of the record into account. submitting a request does not guarantee a correction or removal. this does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
alley.moe is not directed to children under 13. if you think a child has submitted personal information, email privacy@alley.moe. this policy may change as the site changes; the date above shows the latest update.
